1. How can I see what DNS records are currently configured for my domain?
On the LGfL Support Site, you can see what DNS records are currently configured on the View DNS records page.
2. How can I check whether LGfL hosts my domain?
You can carry out a lookup on a domain to find additional information about it including the current Registrar.
For domains ending in .uk: Nominet lookup
For any other domain: WHOIS lookup.
If a domain is currently with LGfL, the Registrar will either be listed as ATOMWIDE or WAVENETUK. You will also see the Nameservers listed as dns10.qzxyz.com, dns7.qzxyz.com & dns8.qzxyz.com.
3. LGfL hosts my domain, how can I make DNS changes?
At this present time, only the LGfL Support Team are able to make DNS changes for schools, there is no direct access to make changes. Please raise a support case listing the modifications you would like to make including which domain the change is for.
4. How can I transfer my domain to or away from LGfL?
Please raise a support case and the team will walk you through the process.
