APN Settings

The LGfL Filtered SIM cards require specific APN settings to be added to your mobile device. The SIM cards will not work until you have completed these steps.

You will need the following details:

APN: ngfl.limitless

Username: Your school DfE number

Password: Your school DfE number

Android

These instructions are based on Samsung running Android 14, other manufactures may vary slightly.

Open the Settings app
Got to Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Click Add (+)
Enter the following details:
- Name: NGfL Limitless
- APN: ngfl.limitless
- Username: Your school DfE number
- Password: Your school DfE number
- All other settings can be left as default
Go back to the Access Point Names list and make sure that NGfL Limitless is selected

iOS (iPhone/4G iPad)

Open Settings
Go to Mobile Service > Primary SIM > Mobile Data Network
Set the following details unger Mobile Data:
- APN: ngfl.limitless
- Username: Your school DfE number
- Password: Your school DfE number
- All other settings can be left as default

Mobile Hotspot & Dongles

TCL Mobile WiFi Hotspot

Connect either with a USB cable or to the WiFi hotspot
Log into the web interface at 192.168.1.1 (password is under the battery)
Navigate to Settings > Setup > Profile Management
Click New and enter these settings:
- Profile Name: NGfL Limitless
- APN: ngfl.limitless
- Username: Your school DfE number
- Password: Your school DfE number
- All other settings can be left as default
Click Save
Select the NGfL Limitless profile from the dropdown and click Save as Default
Click Disconnect

TCL USB 4G Adapter

Access the web interface at 192.168.8.1
Click Settings then enter the admin password (printed under the cover)
Navigate to Profile Management, click New and enter the following details:
- Dial Number: *99#
- Profile Name: NGfL Limitless
- APN: ngfl.limitless
- Username: Your school DfE number
- Password: Your school DfE number
- All other settings can be left as default
Click Save
Select the NGfL Limitless profile from the dropdown and click Save as Default
Click Disconnect
