Policy Group
A container for one or more filtering policies that share a target group, IP addresses, or users:

Filtering Policy/Time Policy
A policy is made up of different rules, including allowed and denied categories, lists of URLs, keywords, and other entries. This is sometimes called a time policy because you can schedule it to take effect at specific times of the day and for a set duration:
USO-based filtering
This per-user filtering method requires the creation of User Groups for USO users. Once a USO User Group is linked to a filtering policy, its members can apply that policy by logging in via a block page:
AD-linked filtering
This per-user filtering method integrates directly with your Active Directory. By linking filtering policies to your AD security groups, users automatically receive the appropriate policy when they log in to the domain:
Google per-user filtering
This method provides per-user filtering by integrating directly with your Google Workspace, allowing you to enforce policies based on individual Google accounts:
System-defined settings
System settings are defined at the system level, not the establishment level. These settings are read-only for all filtering administrators.
Local List
A list of URLs, keywords, and other entries that are categorized as either allowed or denied.
Bundles
Bundles are a powerful tool for managing filtering policies. They are collections of URLs, keywords, and other entries that can be linked to policies. By grouping these resources, you can reuse them across different policies, which makes blocking or allowing sites and services much more time-efficient and straightforward. In SchoolProtect, there are three types of bundles: Establishment, Group, and System.
