Getting Started with Apple Devices in SchoolProtect

Whilst there currently isn't a method of authentication through SchoolProtect. The best method is to reserve IP addresses specifically for iPads, that way, you can create policies based on IP addresses, that will be specifically for those iPads.
The way to reserve an IP in DHCP is a fairly simple and straight forward task, that can be managed by your administrator. You'll need to log into DHCP management, locate the IP address that's connected, and convert it to a reservation. This means, that the IP won't be released or renewed.

The alternative method is to set up a reservation from scratch. This can be done by adding a new reservation under the reservations tab:

Once that's done, you can configure IP policies in SchoolProtect.
This is done by creating a new policy (Policies - Policy Configuration):

Then editing the inactive policy:

Then you can apply the IP addresses of the iPads to that policy:
