USO AutoUpdate
USO-AutoUpdate is an automated solution for exporting data directly from your school's Management Information System (MIS) to the USO database. This system ensures the seamless creation of new USO accounts and updates existing accounts whenever a data export is processed.

Why is Syncing MIS Data with AutoUpdate Important?
AutoUpdate is especially important if your school uses services like StaffMail or Remote Access, as out-of-date or inaccurate account information can lead to data leakage, access issues, or security risks. Instructions for the different MIS systems are provided above.
AutoUpdate helps your school to:
- Automatically create accounts for new starters.
- Remove access when staff or students leave.
- Automatically apply account changes, such as name updates.
- Unlock additional services and functionality that rely on data such as group/class information and parental contact details.
Please note that it is recommended to share only the MIS data necessary for your school's usage of USO services. For example, if you do not use USO accounts, avoid creating them or sharing unnecessary MIS data. Only share the data you actively use. For instance, if parental contact information is not used with LGfL services, there is no need to share it.
Warning: Sharing unnecessary MIS data can increase security risks. Always limit access to only what is required.
